Lightweight stove, 1 fuel canister, cooking pots, cooking utensils, bowls, mugs, cutlery, cutting board, chopping knife, matches, lighter, washing kit, kitchen bag, spices, oil, and biodegradable soap.

The Basics

 

Headlamp with batteries and fully stocked First Aid kit.

Clothing, Personal Items, Toiletries & Electronics

Essential Clothing

 

Bike jerseys, bike shorts, long athletic pants, rain jacket, down or fleece jacket, biking gloves, underwear, socks, long sleeve layer, swimsuit, biking shoes, waterproof sandals.

Electronics

 

Smartphone, camera, external batteries, headphones, charging plugs and cables.

Toiletries

 

Toiletry bag, quick dry towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, sunscreen, insect repellent, hand sanitizer, mirror, razor, tweezers. 

Suggested Clothing Items

 

Organizing bags, casual t-shirts, shorts, casual pants, sports bras, warm hat, warm gloves, baseball or biking cap, waterproof booties, cycling sleeves, casual shoes.

Personal Items

 

Wallet, government ID or passport, keys, sunglasses, notebook and pen, book or e-reader, eye mask and earplugs, and luggage lock (some campsites have lockers with charging stations inside).
